The iPhone 4 lets you organise your apps in folders. Users download so many apps that it's necessary to switch from page to page, but with Apple's home-screen folders feature, a folder is automatically created when you drag and drop one app onto another, and named after the app's category.

Mail App on iPhone 4

Apple has revamped the mail app for the iPhone 4, and added support for several new features, such as a merged inbox that lets you view all your incoming emails from many accounts. Switch swiftly between your inboxes, organise your emails by thread and download attachments with a single tap.

iBooks on the iPhone 4

Another feature borrowed from the iPad is Apple's iBooks e-reader, now available to iPhone 4 users. A smaller version of the iPad application, it has all the pertinent features, like the ability to buy from Apple's iBookstore. Sync your bookmarks between numerous devices, too, so you never lose your place.

Game Centre on iPhone 4

Apple has a new social gaming network, Game Centre, which appears likely to challenge services like the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live. You can invite your friends, earn accomplishments and compete in leader boards. Currently only available to developers, Game Centre will become available to consumers later in the year.
