At last a true alternative to the iPhone, and with more space for a lower monthly cost! The Nokia N900 is highly rated by users who are impressed with nokia's touchscreen technology. The capacity can be further enhanced with a memory card, up to 48GB. The camera is a good quality 5MP with decent lens and flash. The N900 could be the handset the N97 tried to be. It is quite a powerful mini-pc so the thickness could put off some, but it does have a slide-out keyboard making email and word processing a doddle.

It is hard to review the N900 as a phone, as really it is a mobile computer. The N900 has a powerful processor, a full-browser and Nokia's new operating system, Maemo. Maemo offers an easy to use and dynamic OS which can be customised with your own apps. This is not a slim or a simple phone, it is a true workhorse for power users and Nokia lovers! You can power presentations on projectors and TVs easily and even use a bluetooth mouse/keyboard combo. The camera is pretty good and comes with decent sharing and geotagging options. One of the most impressive things with the n900 is the multi-tasking ability, you can have lots of applications running at the same time and show these on the dashboard. The N900 is the most impressive Nokia ive seen for a while, I think now they just need to work on improving the handset feel & size reduction. I look forward to what Nokia come up with next! If you require a truely powerful phone for business use then this would be ideal and would allow you to not always need your bulky laptop!
